The Boots and Whiskey Podcast Features a “Conversation with Maddye Trew”
Platform Highlights Promising Females for Women’s History Month
While Maddye was putting the pieces in place for what would be her second single release, “That’s the Lonely Talkin’,” another country dreamer named Jim Belisle was watching his brand-new country music podcast begin to take off and pick up steam, and we are thrilled that his “Boots and Whiskey Podcast” chose to include Maddye as part of their “Women History Month” lineup.
The podcast seeks to discover the best in new and promising artists from across the country; that being said, Belisle still has a soft spot for Music City, Nashville, Tennessee. “It was so nice to hear from somebody IN Nashville that is just absolutely KILLING as a female artist,” offers the host in his introduction.
Their conversation is just that … a conversation. Laid-back, relaxed and organic, Jim comes with no agenda and a love for country music, and their episode comfortably explores the heart behind Maddye’s recent releases and her journey toward her dream of country music stardom.
“That was so fun!” said Maddye after wrapping up the interview. “I love that he didn’t just come with a list of questions but instead let us kinda wander around. And to be one of the women selected to represent new country music on their podcast during Women’s History Month was really special; Jim’s a good one.”
Pull up a stool and listen in; thanks to Jim Belisle and everyone with the “Boots and Whiskey Podcast” for inviting us over — and for leaving the bar open!
