MADDYE: TREW COUNTRY
Maddye tips her hat to classic country with a powerful live rendition of Loretta Lynn’s “Country in My Genes.”

Rising country singer/songwriter Maddye Trew is celebrating her introduction to radio as “Long Gone John,” her first single to be sent to radio, was greeted as the fifth most added release among MusicRow stations across the country in its first week.
Emma Rowley, Maddye’s co-writer on the new release, reflected on their special collaboration that led to the heartful tune. “I remember the feeling in the room when we came up with the hook of the song. Everything felt electric! The lyrics and melody were totally infectious. I instantly knew we had something special on our hands. It’s always a good sign when a song practically writes itself!”
“Y’all SEE her? I – want – to – BE – her!” exclaims country newcomer Maddye Trew, beaming as she holds up a magazine featuring her hero, Loretta Lynn, on the cover. She’s celebrating the release of her new single, “Dear Loretta,” which made its debut on Radio SoBro’s NuMu Friday just in time for Trew to take it onstage as a featured performer at the Tennessee River Jam in Paris, Tennessee.
