MADDYE: TREW COUNTRY
Maddye tips her hat to classic country with a powerful live rendition of Loretta Lynn’s “Country in My Genes.”

Back by popular demand, country music newcomer Maddye Trew will make her second appearance on the nationally-syndicated television show Jimmy Bowen & Friends; Maddye's segment will be taped LIVE on Tuesday, July 8 at The Troubadour Nashville.
Country music newcomer Maddye Trew is pleased to release "Single Of The Year" to radio (available via PlayMPE) following rave reviews. This upbeat "anthem for the unattached" raises a glass to those who remain reluctantly single while claiming awards for those who possess "the most broken heart."
"It's about owning the mess, laughing through the pain, and turning your worst romantic failures into your best stories. And that's very Gen Z," states Brent Musgrave of Music Existence. "It's pop culture commentary in steel-toed boots," concurs Jennifer Munoz of Vents magazine. In either case, it's highly relatable and perfect whimsical fodder for a singles sing-along throughout the upcoming wedding season.
Rising country singer/songwriter Maddye Trew is celebrating her introduction to radio as “Long Gone John,” her first single to be sent to radio, was greeted as the fifth most added release among MusicRow stations across the country in its first week.
Mike Thomas, program director for KFAV-FM in Warrenton, MO, was quick to offer his praise for the refreshing new tune. “Maddye offers up a great debut single that’s got the sass of a Loretta Lynn classic with a catchy and cool hook for today’s country radio fans,” said Thomas.
