Maddye Joins Americana Artist Nicole Lewis in Heartwarming “Keep It Kind” Music Video

Simple Acts of Kindness are Highlighted in Latest Lewis Release

Having grown up a self-proclaimed “theater kid,” Maddye has never been one to shy away from a creative adventure. A role in a play? Absolutely! Need a backup singer? You bet!

So when Americana singer/songwriter Nicole Lewis started making plans for a music video for her song, “Keep It Kind,” Maddye was delighted to join the project.

“Nicole is just great,” says Maddye. “I’m such a fan of her music, and the whole idea for the video — the joy and fun and lightness of people passing happiness from one person to the next — it’s awesome. I love her positivity and songs that lift, that shine. Like her.”

Written by Lewis and John Cirillo, the song was written as a reminder of the importance of kindness in a world where it the choice to be kind is not always realized.

“Maddye’s the best,” says Lewis. “She has this genuine joy and positivity, and it’s just so inspiring. She was really an added light in this project,” she said with a smile.

“Takes one to know one,” laughs Maddye upon hearing Nicole’s comments. “Thanks, girl!”
